2018 National School Bus Safety Week: October 22-26, 2018 and the theme is "My Driver - My Safety Hero!"

Held during the third full week of October each year, National School Bus Safety Week is an active and evolving public education program and an excellent way for parents, students, teachers, motorists, school bus operators, school administrators, and other interested parties - to join forces and address the importance of school bus safety. Designed to promote school bus safety, school districts throughout the country observe School Bus Safety Week.

Celebrate National School Bus Safety Week! 

To celebrate National School Bus Safety Week NTES, STES, and TCMS will be competing in a poster contest with the theme: My Driver - My Safety Hero

Divisions: K-2; 3-5; 6-8

A winner from each division will receive a Dairy Queen Gift Card and school recognition, and recognition at the TCBOE monthly meeting.

Posters should be 11”x17” or 12”x18”

Any type of marker or pen is acceptable. Nothing can be added onto or glued to the poster. Only free hand letters, no stencils. No Copyrighted Characters may be used.

Posters should be turned in to each school office by Friday at noon for judging. Winners will be notified by the transportation department.
