3rd Grade Student NTI Packets 2019-20 Assignments

Snow Packet Requirements

2019-2020

All work must be completed by the student.

•      Please store the packets in a safe location that your child has access to when needed.
•      Students will need basic crayons.
•      Students may use a highlighter if necessary.
•      Work should be done in pencil.
•      Paper rulers are included. (Please take care of these.)
•      Completed work is due on the first day back to school.
•      Please check your child’s work and give guidance as needed. (You can learn a lot about your child by the way they process information and problem-solve.)
•     Students must use the SEEK, FIND, and UNDERLINE strategy as proof of the answers they find in the passage/article.
•     C.U.B.E.S. should be used as a strategy for math. Answers to word problems must have an explanation, model, or both. J
•     Written answers must be in the form of complete sentences with correct grammar and punctuation.
•     Words that are on the pages of the packet should not be misspelled when they are used to answer a question.

Students should take this work very seriously, as it replaces a full day of instruction.  All students are aware of these expectations, and should be able to explain them to you.
