I'm here to read you a story you all know how much I live reading to you in the classroom since we're not able to be together at school I'm just going to read to you from home Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs you have probably already watch the movie before but the book is just as fine now the reason why is because it helps his practice are visualizing skills I want you to remember that when we visualize we're making sure the story of the characters in the story and I want you to imagine that you would say Saoirse how would you feel why would you even smell so let's get started Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs this is written by Judi Barrett and drawn by Ron Barrett so here is that I want you to go ahead and start practicing making those mental movies make that prediction what do you think the story will be about we were all sitting around a big kitchen table it was Saturday morning pancakes morning in Grandpa feeling the flipping 2nd spider something flew through the air headed toward the kitchen ceilings and landed right on Henry we all realize that the flying object with only a pancake we all laugh even Grandpa breakfast continue quite uneventful all the other pancakes in cooked and the next day there were brussel sprouts and peanut butter with man another day there was a piece of fall I Can Only Imagine tears of a problem this may cause the food was getting larger and larger and so are the portions the people were getting frightened toilet frequently awful things were happening once you said I was a hurricane of Bread & rolls all day long and into the night there were soft Frozen Hard Rock Summertime by season summer there was white bread whole wheat toast most of it was larger than they had ever seen Bread & rolls before it was a terrible day everyone had and doors reviews for damage Department website and that's just the workers 4 days to clean up and I think it was full floating Rose to help out the people pound at this much bread as I said in their giant meatballs 2 doors were boarded up and there was no more school for the children so a decision was made Ed Sheeran swallow it was a matter of survival I noticed how this man is walking around and you feel you had to abandon your town would you be excited to get to go find a new land or would you be sad to leave everything behind after being a float for a week they finally reach the small which welcomes the bread has held up surprisingly well Prairie houses for themselves out of it. I'll try to find places for themselves in the mirror the biggest challenge they had to make with getting used to buying food at the supermarket they found it odd that the food was kept on shells package and bottle boxes cans and bottles meat that has to be cooked with Captain Lord refrigerators nothing came from the sky except rain and snow the clouds above their head we're not made of fried eggs ever got hit by hamburger again nobody dared to Chihuahua to find out what it happened to it they were to a friend hitting an hour away into the very end of Grandpa story I remember his kiss goodnight the next morning we woke up to see snow falling outside our window so imagine how excited they were snow we ran downstairs for breakfast and a little faster than usual so we could go sledding with Grandpa it's funny but even as we were sliding down the hill we thought we saw a giant at the top and we can almost smell mashed potatoes are there Imagining the heel of mashed potatoes that are on top is that I could smell the mashed potatoes the and I really hope you enjoy the story as much as I enjoyed reading and station because I will be doing more reading to you online so have a good rest of your day bye-bye
